Mt. Tabor Elementary School
The Parsippany Troy Hills Board of Education opened Mt. Tabor Elementary School in 1932. It served the educational needs of the children in the Mt. Tabor community until its closing in 1981 due to a dwindling student population. In September 1998, Mt. Tabor reopened its doors again to welcome the now increasing student population.
Today, Mt. Tabor continues the tradition of a neighborhood school striving for academic excellence in an atmosphere that encourages individuality within a close knit school community. Nestled high on a hill and supported by caring parents and a dedicated teaching staff, Mt. Tabor is an ideal place for children to grow and learn. Currently, Mt. Tabor Elememtary School provides quality education to 251 children from Kindergarten through Grade Five. A dedicated and caring staff of classroom teachers, specialists and support staff work together to delivery this education to our community's children.
