   Fun Fair and Tricky Tray Held at East Lake

The East Lake Elementary School Parent Teacher Association (PTA) held its annual Fun Fair and Tricky Tray fundraiser on Saturday, March 6. Students Jessica Verile, 6 (left) spins the Wheel of the Jungle as Natalie Verile, 8, (right) looks on. PTA Mom Kim Kirsten was the coordinator of the game. The fun fair had have a variety of food and craft booths and fun games for children of all ages and lots of prizes for the children.

Sign Up For Citizen Police Academy

The Parsippany Citizen Police Academy is a ten week Program with classes held once per week at the Parsippany Police Department. The classes are designed to educate Parsippany residents on police procedures, training, crime prevention techniques, neighborhood watch programs, motor vehicle stops, traffic enforcement, school resource officers and other important topics.

Members of the Parsippany Police Department, as well as guest speakers from other law enforcement and professional agencies, will address the class on their area of expertise. Upon completion of the academy, all participants will receive certificates.

PBA to hold Beefsteak

Parsippany PBA No. 131 will hold its Annual Beefsteak on Friday, April 16 from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at the Parsippany PAL, 33 Baldwin Road. Food Provided By Baskingers Catering.  Entertainment will be provided by Comedian Rodney Laney. Also PBA #131 Civic Association will hold a 50/50 Raffle. Silent Auction.
